4 avocados pitted (set the pits aside, don't throw them away)
Half of a small red or white onion
Half of a large tomato
Half of a jalapeño (seeds removed, unless you want it extra spicy)
1 Tbsp of lime juice
1 tsp garlic salt
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: black beans or thawed frozen corn
5 mins. prep
2 mins. cooking
7 mins. total
1. Cut up the onion, tomato and jalapeño. Set aside.
2. Mash the avocados in a large mixing bowl.
3. Mix in the onion, tomato, jalapeño, lime juice, garlic salt, salt, and pepper.
Serve immediately or refrigerate.
TIP: Put the pits back in the guacamole, it's suppose to help slow down the browning process.
