Healthy Hot Cocoa

Ingredients

  • 1 cup light coconut milk

  • 1 1/2 cups non-dairy milk, such as almond, oat, rice, or soy milk

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup or honey

  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

  • sea salt to taste

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a small pot and place over medium-low heat.

  2. Whisk vigorously to combine and remove any lumps of cocoa. DO NOT let the hot chocolate boil. Simply warm in the pot until steamy, about 3-5 minutes.
